Meet a Douglas-fir
Meet a Larch Tree (if applies to your local area or if you're visiting an area where there are larch trees)
- Find some larch trees in your area. Using either a field guide from the library of your local trees or an online field guide, try to identify the specific species.
- If you're able to secure a larch tree species in your local area, take photographs, make bark rubbings and a video of the tree.
- Make a journal page about the larch in your botany journal.
Meet a Douglas-fir
- Repeat the same steps as a above for "meeting" a Douglas-fir up close and personal!
